Beats crap winter telly – the blog of Swedish magazine Arkitektur has posted a bunch of full-length architecture documentaries by directors Richard Copan and Stan Neumann.

The site is in Swedish only so we have no idea where they got the films – but the movies themselves are in English.

Subjects include Jean Prouvé, the Bauhaus, Peter Zumthor and Corbusier’s La Tourette convent.

I am also a great fan of Arkitektur’s films

    I like verymuch: The American Look 1 ( 1958 )

The cheery music does nothing whatever for the ponderous plodding pace

( it goes on for ever ) but a great period look at how they did it then

pre- CNC Washed out Ektachrome 3 and wide screen !
