Looks good!
You mentioned that “It looks ‘cold’” but you have control over that as designers. The image you provided is very cold (blue, clear white) and that what gives it a ‘cold’ look. You can make the actual item slightly warmer or at least capture it in a warmer atmosphere (colors, environment) and it will deliver the message that you want.
