		<description>I was under the impression that the word &#039;wa&#039; (和), meaning peace, harmony, etc. was a distinctly Japanese word. While the character is of Chinese origin I&#039;m curious to know if it has the same connotations in Chinese and what other Asian cultures use it.</description>
