Dezeen traffic report
Dezeen had its best-ever month in April, with over 200,000 people visiting the site, bringing the total number of visitors so far this year to well over 500,000.
In total we received 212,164 unique visitors - an increase of over 30% on March and an average daily total of 7,072.
Total page loads were up almost 35% to 318,355 and returning visitors grew 72% to 35,213 (source: StatCounter).
Our most popular stories during April were both projects by architect Jean Nouvel: our exclusive on his tower in Doha attracted a lot of visitors (and a lot of puerile comments on its resemblance to a willy) - but not as many as our scoop on his winning scheme for the Philharmonie de Paris (the interior images were most popular of all).
During April, our Technorati ranking of all blogs on the internet, ranked in order of popularity, jumped from 8,002 to 4,518 (today's figure).
In total, dezeen has had 547,019 unique visitors since the start of this year.
