Utilising the concept of thermal mass in domestic properties is very much questionable and dependent on many factors. I don't think you get the big picture either.

Suspect the extra energy to cool and heat it (less thermal mass to use passive solar gains or keep it cool in summer) will exceed the CO2 sequestered. What a pity that architects are so hung up on one aspect that they don't get the big picture.

I dont mind the position of the bathrooms, it makes sense to have the around the core, but the plans in genreal are dreadful. 4 bedroom apartment and a tiny open plan kitchen? and what about the apartment on the northwest corner....
Nevertheless trying to break the negative preconception londoners have towards timber construction is a great thing.

Timber it's OK but... What kind of a house is that, where you come in first passing by bathrooms and badrooms and only at the end of the aisle it's possible to reach the living room?

Timber is a regrowing material. If it comes from a managed forest it actually is grown and harvested for this purpose.
