Its hard to tell from the pictures, but I like the design. It complements the area well and will provide for a nice focal point to museum island, which is an amazing area of Berlin that, at present, feels more like a hodge-podge of buildings than a focal point of culture. I also lik ehow the front covered walk-way complements the similar walk-way in front of the Neues Museum. An excellent way to integrate the new architecture into the old, which is particularly important when dealing with central Berlin. Schinkel's great genius was his sense of scale and proportion. His buildings compliment, expand, and yet rest peacefully within the areas where they are placed. Following in his footsteps (or at least the footprints of his building) like this is diffiult and I applaud this work.
