New Designers 07: Tap Light (above and below) is a wall light you turn on and off with a tap. It was designed by Cat Mckee, a graduate from the contemporary furniture course at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College.
We've just updated our Zaha Hadid blog with a time-lapse movie showing the construction of the Lilas installation at the Serpentine Gallery (see previous post). New Designers 07: here is our first post from the New Designers Part 2 graduate showcase, which opened last night at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. Paper Mache Arm Chair (sic) is designed by Majid Asif of University College for the Creative Arts. The chair is made of 120 layers of newspaper built up over an inflatable mould. More »
