If you can give me any information on the details of finishing oak furniture with soap flakes I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.

I too am trying to find more information about soap finishing and where to get the soap flakes. There is no where online or in books that explains the process and gives details about materials. I'm finishing up some oak tables and while I usually use a danish oil, I'd like to try a soap finish. I'd love to hear from you about this or get some advice on who I could contact.

Thank You

Am very interested in the soap flake finishing technique. I'm a furniture maker myself. Just read about this finish in Metropolitan but it was not described in detail. Thanks in advance if you could share.
