Dezeen’s first million

It’s not very sunny back here in London but we’re smiling nonetheless, as we’ve reached a major milestone.

We’ve been on holiday for the past ten days – thanks to Chantelle Lue for looking after dezeen for us while we were away.

And we’ve returned to find that at some point during the last week we welcomed our millionth visitor… we’ve now had 1,025,000 visitors since the start of the year.

We’ve also galloped up Technorati’s popularity ranking of all the blogs in the world and are now well within the top 2,500. Thanks once again to all our readers!
