I think his work has matured and evolved being more brand orientated but unfortunately he has lost all of the qualities that made him "marc Newson" ex: sculptural roots with highly original spacey forms and great detailing. His recent work lacks punch and looks like something Karim rashid might do on a very good day. I am also a fan of Newson and I think he was “the man” towards the end of the nineties.
