It might look better on the moon. It does not fit at all into the context of the site. Was this a design left over from somewhere else?

I think the charred pavilion looks excellent, almost upgrades that horrible GLA building… however the opposite cafe lost something in the colour of the material, looks slightly too plastic… even so really nice intervention into the space.

I think it does sort of fit the site and give it some human scale and intimacy.

i love the intimacy of its cave-like entrance quality, and the simple means of construction with dark wood.
