Sales Manager, 100% Design
Based in Richmond, Surrey
The Event
An exciting opportunity for a strategic mind to drive sales on the UK’s leading contemporary interiors event, 100% Design London.
100% Design incorporates dedicated sections, 100% Futures, an exciting showcase of emerging design talent and 100% Light, an area focusing on contemporary and architectural lighting products.100% Detail is co-located next door with its dedicated section 100% Materials. The next event will take place 18-21 September 2008, Earls Court.
The ability to manage an experienced team of sales and sales support staff must be clearly demonstrable. The ability to demonstrate passion for and success in the areas of business development, sales management, customer service and revenue development are a must in this position. The position requires frequent international travel and attendance at industry networking events.
Main Elements of the job include:
- Day to day management responsibility for sales & sales support teams
- Delivery & execution of the 100% Design sales plan to agreed financial & meterage targets
- Effective implantation of a developing Key Account Programme
- Development of event strategy in conjunction with ED
- Planning and effective management of the 100% Design floor plan in conjunction with the Operations Director / ED
- Driving client ROI through customer service and business solutions
- Liaison with marketing department on exhibitor related campaigns
- Assessing and implementing best practice across entire sales operation
- Co-ordination of all sponsorship related activity
- Sales budget submissions and reforecast – weekly, monthly and quarterly
- Management of client specific events
- Management of panel selection process
- Management of ISG network
The Candidate
Highly motivated sales professional who can demonstrate:
- Degree qualification
- Interest in architecture or interiors market as distinct advantage
- Experienced and motivated team manager
- Experience in negotiating and consultative selling
- Excellent Account Management skills
- Excellent communication and networking skills
