Dynamic architectural practice seeks a graphic designer for maternity cover. This position will be based at our London studio working with our small graphic design team and will involve working on a range of in-house printed brochures and presentation information, alongside promotional material and our yearly publication, the Make annual. The person appointed will also share responsibility for compiling information and giving design direction for a recently-commissioned book about the practice.
Successful candidates will have good knowledge of Adobe software, particularly Adobe InDesign using PC, a communication, art and design degree or equivalent and at least two years experience of working with print in a busy design studio.
Must be able to show initiative, have good organisational skills, an eye for detail, and an ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Candidates must also have proven ability to initiate and develop original design concepts suitable for a particular company identity. An interest in architecture would be an advantage.
