Customer Service Representative
Tom Dixon is looking to recruit a customer service representative to work with the sales team across 52 international markets. Experience using Sage is an advantage.
The Role
- Processing and confirming all orders for product from the sales team or overseas agents and coordinate their delivery with suppliers
- Organising weekly despatch of goods - working with Logistics manager and warehouse to co-ordinate
- Support when required on delivery of all products through our external logistics providers
- Organise shipping paperwork for customer orders
- Deal with customer enquiries
- Work with Product development team on product related issues
- Dealing with customer service issues, complaints or supplier difficulties
- Invoicing and collection of pre-payment monies
- Develop sales and marketing database and forward customer details to marketing team for the Tom Dixon website
- Coordinate sales activities with agents outside the UK
- Coordinate all marketing materials and distribute with customer orders
- General administration and acting as support to Head of Sales/Brand Director in the sales activities of the business
- Collate price lists three times per year
- Prepare sales materials for brand exhibitions - Milan (April) and 100% Design (September)
The Candidate
The appropriate candidate will have a sensitivity towards design and an interest in the creative industries is preferable. They will have the ability to work with minimal instruction, and the confidence to develop new ways of working. They will also have the ability to understand the technical aspects of a product and the finer points of product quality. They will be organised, highly numerate and a good team player. Computer literacy with significant experience of Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with Sage is an advantage.
The key attribute of this person will be their energy & their organisational skills. Due to the young nature of the company, this person will be required to roll-up their sleeves and do whatever necessary to drive the success of the company.
