Everyone’s entitled to their opinion even ‘negative’ ones.
I think what Fling was criticising was the use of such effort and technology for the prime purpose of consumerism.
I don’t call that a ’stupidious’ comment.
They do look quite nice for poxy shelves though.

The first pic, of the 36 possible arrangements , reminded me of Le Corbusier’s Panel Exercise in the first volume of The Modulor. Its reincarnation as a computer generated system of subdivision and interactive design program is exciting.
