This project is done well. Appropriate for it's function but still interesting. It's refreshing to see restraint where it's warranted.

Paul's comment is pretty funny. There is a lot of Scooby Doo in the rotating bookcase hiding villain.

Excellent work! I always like to see Holl's sketchbook images. But I am not understanding how the skylights work since they don't show on the roof. Perhaps they are faux skylights with artificial illumination.

Love the idea of flipping doors of books, to an enclosed space. Makes it more intimate. Also, the visual lines are interesting as it creates inquisitive spaces which is simple and enough to make it understandable. Nothing overstating on spatial articulation makes it workable as the focus is on Kafka's work.'

At least he didn't try to conceptualize it by using 'Metamorphosis hhhh..'

Good Job !

Sketches are a little too contrived, especially for a bookshelf system; but the interior overall is lovely. Steven Holl really orchestrates wonderful spaces. Very nice.
