i dont understand why the hexagonal facade? is it for the different sized windows? or for the structure? becoz both of them could have been done on a plain facade as well.

I think the building looks ok, but the post-rationalization for the varying pattern of hexagons (sun and wind patterns) is pure bullshit, and I'm surprised anyone's fallen for it. The sunlight diagram in particular I can tell has been either doctored or just made up – no way you're going to get different exposures across a face like that, with no other buildings around.

Is it possible if anyone tell me as complicatedly as possible how is this design mapped in a way that facillitates the wind and air movements in a way that minimizing heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer?
I need the info for a project on weather adapted features.
