Senior design architect (Los Angeles)
Our Skidmore Owings & Merrill Los Angeles office is seeking senior level architects for involvement in a variety of roles that would include:
- Creating a new research based studio that can actively engage in complex and innovative public projects; in particular architectural interiors and hospitality works.
- Create a network with technology-based manufacturers who can engage in new production and fabrication methodologies.
- Support a studio environment by providing design excellence and mentoring to all designers.
This individual would initially collaborate on existing projects taking place in our New York studio.
Applicants must hold a five-year professional degree or Master’s degree in Architecture and have 5 to 8 years of professional experience. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3d Studio Max and/or Rhino is required.
