yes, perhaps the ’street art’ hype is more or less ‘over mid swing’, but I am fond of these never the less, good effort, i’ll be sure to make a visit next week!

I think they’re cool enough, but one can’t help notice that they are the least “urban” things imaginable. I would rather see non-urban things made urban in more compelling ways, like garden silhouettes of people being held at gunpoint, etc.

seems to me a late example of the vinyl toy movement.
few designs are quite good, most give a feeling of having seen them before

street style urban gnomes! this is so street. these fine bone china pieces really speak to me of “wildstyle,” “invasions,” and “vandals.” i’m sure all the graffiti skater punks will be shaking their salt and peppers with one of these. good job, design committee and writing committee!
