i dont agree with the idea taht the upper part is an obstacle, i mean, how many times the sun or bulb dont let us use our laptops because the light?

Also, i dont think that someone with a TV in his living room will get this kind of sofa…

i dare to say that you can see different zones in the piece, on one side you have a shadow if you want to be more closed to yourself, and in the other part you are in a more open space, available.

i think that the aproach for a multifunctional furniture in this case is positive, saving a couple (or even three) diferent pieces without leaving a simple and easygoing expression.

i like it!!

my fist impression i’ts a nice new form, catching eye then i think of function and use….
yung , you are right : Is the idea of a mixture between outdoor and indoor furniture ok with function and form. I’m not sure .Inside the upper part of this sofa is an obstacle for light source for reading but ouside for sun not always at the sampe place.
The form is also an obstacle to people in other part of the room if the sofa is in front TV as usual…
