Even though the form is well known since ancient times, but actually how many pyramid buildings do extist this days ? I love the form and the glass - the concept how they write: "the triangular profile will prevent the structure casting shadows on adjacent buildings, and allow for optimum solar and wind power generation" is VERY promissing! I am living in Dublin and even there are not many high buildings but the shadow even this buildings produce is horendous, awkward I find..So green light for the plan from my part :-) Angela Wow, my first impression is just Wow ! Au contraire. Il est de magnifiques volumes au sein des villes, des lacs (un cube en Suisse...) , des montagnes (parfois). Mais il sont toujours parfaitement intégrés à leur environnement. Il faut prendre du recul, messieurs les apprentis sorciers. Que de conneries n'ai-je pas vu de la part d'étudiants architectes ! Ils ne travaillent heureusement pas ou plus comme architectes ! Mais certains "bureaux" rêvent du pactole avec un projet exorbitant, peu importe si les beaux quartiers voisins y perdent tous. Un jour on verra un petit sot proposer un building en forme d'harmonica ou de tambour... De 500 m de haut. Faites vite un stage chez un vrai architecte (rares). And there is no way of getting away from the implicit meanings associated with triangles and pyramids. It would be a shame if this building was built and ruined the Parisian cityscape.
