In fact, this is typically similar to our custom habitation in Sudan – the early-civilized Sudanese cities. The families lived inside one big complicated shared space, that contain small private units with the respect of every single small family space. I think this project is very practical to whom live like this.

this is good speculation, because it has to do with space and activity of inhabitants.
in my opinion, this kinda of work pushes architecture forward and into new realms.

zaha, gehry, etc. are not speculative (except sometimes in terms of construction).

by the way, needing a map for architecture is a brilliant notion. if you look at some ancient and medieval architecture, there is a complexity and size of room arrangement that in a way begs for a map. also, marauder’s map from harry potter, anyone?

this is great work.
MUCH better than the scharoun and h&dem rip-off ordos house from a couple weeks ago. there was a fellow who was saying regionalism was not possible besides craftsmen, and i think this project makes an argument otherwise.
