Love the images and the set-up... By 'dislocating' the elements from their usual context the simple, inventive, utilitarian beauty is revealed. As someone who has lived, and used such various, usually temporary, food stands, this submission provided a nice reminder. The olfactory ambience of the exhibition space must be interesting..!?

I dont wish to sound negative because the objects are inventive,The people who use these always are,but they are born out of necessity to make aliving, because they are poor, not an art form. It is important to look to other cultures .
The objects look abit dead and lost and out of context in that space. ,where are the people who are connected to these resourceful objects , the people who use them, make them, and make a living from them , why are they not considered to be as important. markets are social spaces.
These could have being placed in the street and used instead of a museum
context.

Life can be so beautiful!

Thank you for showing me this.

The round container in Namibia stand is made in China, and the red characters mean double happiness, which are often used as decorations on weddings.
