It really is one of my favourite buildings. Tom Emerson gave a lecture at my university examining this building, really brilliant stuff.

I wonder what Nicholas thinks.
Whilst its fabulous to see the frontage maintained, I just cant help feeling sad that something has disappeared forever.
Why choose an old building if you want to put something modern in it?
Well, i guess you didnt knock it down. Why was that?

Hallo, Just to say how wonderful Raven Row looks now. Making it into an arts centre but ensuring full restoration is the best possible purpose for the Georgian shops.
