Actually, on his website one can see Claudio Colucci already designed the Mini Dada in 1997 and got manufactured by IDEE in Japan. he made an other exhibition with the Mini Dada in Galerie Sentou in Paris in 2001 and got some made for his interior design work for Le Delicabar in Le bon Marché in Paris in 2003.
I tryed the sitting several times in Le bon marché and it is really as fun to sit on this low rocking chair as it is confortable while having a nice patisserie… even though it is not a rocking armchair!

I enjoy it this. However I have doubts regarding the effectiveness of a rocker without arms.

Scott Laughton’s original design is much more powerful and conceptually purer then Colucci’s design. This rocker looks a bit dated. While Laughton’s seams near timeless. Sorry to say.
