With small projects like this pavilion, I think Zaha' s ideas is amazing and unique. But with gigantic projects (such as Cairo Expo City), I think she's unreal and extravagant: not measurement, not details,... and so many things aren't mentioned. In general, I like Zaha' s style; but I don't like her extravagancy !!!!!!!

Personally I'm digging it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but one thing I find interesting, all of these 'internet' experts who can so easily dismiss or rip some of these architects and have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. You know what is even more interesting? If some of these architects suck so bad why are they so successful? I guess it is all the stupid clients with money eh? I'm not defending Zaha as she doesn't need to be defended but seriously, how many that light her up in these forums will ever begin to achieve what she or so many other starchitects have? Very few if any . . . ever.

George Nelson lamp scaled up as architectural idea? Either we are just too numb and distanced to real substance or just too gullible and easily consumed by indulgences and desires. In the age of Hummers and excesses, sad to see the starchitects loosing themselves in themselves...Zumthor's Pritzker is refreshingly cleansing and hopefully reminding us that true substance still trumps self indulgence.

Old school? Perhaps...having been promised great wine but instead been served vinegar once too many times...thanks, I will just stick to water, at least it will keep me alive.
