I would have a hard time eating a meal if these objects were sitting on the same table or in the same room. It just looks like bubblegum stuck on an object. i don’t know about anyone else but if i found bubblegum on anything that i own, i would most probably throw it out.

The ‘designer’ did not ‘create objects’. They put chicle onto existing objects. This isn’t design, it’s a place to stick your gum. Maybe if the results weren’t so hideous and non-functional, maybe if the results made some sort of statement – but no, the results are an uninspired mix of objects held together with chicle.
