i entirely agree w/ pacman (lol!!) and Q. not to discredit the valid explorations of BAAS, but in general Spanish architecture tends to repeat itself and in particular, a health centre (we're not really told what goes on inside there, which would be nice), or any building for that matter, should feel more human. my opinion.

Our friend Pacman doesn't feel the subtleties of this kind of architecture.

The way the Spanish architecture evolves (and it's not only BAAS Architects or whoever) it's through small yet very fine increments.

There's lot of exploration - both spatial and in terms of cladding/skin, however one needs a very refined and cultivated eye to spot and aknowledge it - that's something, say, an American architect trained in the formal complexity paradigm might not swallow easily. Why not having daily on the platter the "unique" and "iconic"?...

Otherwise to me the BAAS project resembles Dominique Perrault's Mediateque in Vennisieux, yet the strip-patios are tipically Spanish.

hey jet...you are right, i am, i shouldnt waste my time writing in blogs...
...anyway, one last comment: I dont know why you are so offended, i was just suggesting that spanish architecture has its very distinct character, and i think thats ok, but i wish they could start exploring a bit more...when there is a "crisis" (and i dont mean only an economic one) by principle, the creative process is enhanced...historically, and in that sense, i was just admiting that im bored of some stuff coming out from there (even if i contributed to this character for 4 years), however, i did also say that its nice.

...oh!! and by the way, thats not how you spell idiot!...you idiot! :)
