While the orginiality is certainly questionable, the design seems to be executed well.

I don't see the ocean currents, but whatever launch pad you need for conception... it's a cool design. In both senses. I really like it, but think I would have introduced some warm colors, maybe in the furniture?

Either way, great design.

reference to damien hirst explained:

the shark was caught off the shore in bosphorous in front of this cafe hence the ceiling purlins are a reference to shark skeleton,
Hirst is also a common used phrase in turkish:

Hirst Lan!!

I don't think this design solution serves the intended purpose fully. It is a novel way to cover the mechanicals but not a true representation of a "wave".

A better description might be "...in the form of curves"

Curves may be uniform in one dimension or another, as in this case, but waves are not uniform, they fluccuate. (They cresendo and diminish, in other words.)
For this application to be a true "wave" form it should rise at some point and fall at some point. (Though that could be slightly unsettling through the course of a meal with appropriate wine choices.)

A "wave" soultion it is not, a nice, soothing "curvy" solution it is.
