The sleek approach to interactive terminals is lovely and elegant. Delicious, in fact. But the overall impact of the space, from the photos, appears to be unnecessarily complex. The ambiguous experience mentioned in the text may be due to the impact of all the interwoven green lines ending and beginning so abruptly in places.

Surely the space was designed so that 100% of component materials can be repurposed/reused/recycled once the exhibit is retired?

Jurgens architecture is always outstanding! "Outstandingly Bad!" or "Formalistic Crap!" some ignorant Critics will maybe call it. But no!
I like the Idea of an Architecture looking futuristic, but actually beeing from the Past. This is a Statement.
Nearly unrecyclable Combinations of different Materials shout out: "Look, I was a recycling-sign!" Brilliant. Style is the Massage.
Stop complaining, you envious intellectual cretins!

It appears that HVAC was integrated along with elect and tele/data. Notice the louvers at the floor in the photo 8 from the top. Cold air return? Or, the displays require make up air since heat is generated? Future Apple store prototype?

What a challenge and some fun to to detail this, I'd love to see drawings. It seems a bit of a stretch to imagine the recycle logo being the base from which this was generated but what a bold and unforgettable final outcome, congrats!

The Disney Land of Green.

Let's all evaluate our consumption habits and ecological footprints in this artificial environment which makes no effort, except for lip (and eye) service, toward the real environmental/sustainability solution.

This is a fool's machine, producing illusions for the VW corp. to make up for their short comings in actual honest environmental efforts. This room is a statement that speaking and appearing "green" is sufficient action in our endangered world.
