Ok, It’s beautiful, as a techno-phenomen. Yet very impractical in terms of weight. The great impression this retro technology has imprinted on every person in the modern world is that of lightness…which this design is not. Visually it trying to be something it’s not…although the hues and luster of an aluminum finish are extraordinary as a surface, perhaps another material composite (perhaps more environmentally friendly) would fit the revolution this techy folly could evoke. Recycled plastic, Mollasis and Pine Resin, Concrete… then we could all go back to Lego Logic and build cities the way we’ve always wanted, connecting the colorful parts.
