Good going Sepp! Reminds me of projects from days past …. I say, “It’f full of personality. Maybe a lot going on, but we need first to see in context, ont he street etc., don’t we?”

The ‘sticks’ attached to the facade are basically a poor copy of Miralles Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, a much greater contract of materials needs to be used to be successful in such moves, not insipid silver/grey… too sterile.

I think the stripes are a bit too much, but otherwise I would say that on urban level this is a very interesting example of integration in the city fabric, and that the spaces inbetween the volumes are quite succesful…for the interior layout it seems quite classic, which is not negative, having in mind that the apartments seem to offer very good quality of living….interesting project

very nice and jocular approach to urban block. I enjoy the passageways cut through the mass – they help to break down the mass and hint at contextual connections to the adjacent areas of the site.

besides, there isn’t “too much going on” at all as dalstonrosi suggests above. the overall composition (if we were to put it this way) is pretty aerated.

Viennese architecture is yet again a striking paradigm for urban dwelling.

There is simply too much going on. Broken up volumes, varying facades, etc. Vienna has such a rich heritage of good urban housing. Shame the need was felt to deviate and to be ‘original’ instead of working with the local context (not talking about pastiche her mind …).
