A little too spacious for my taste, but this is absolutely gorgeous. I’d have to agree with Jeroen about the window frames though. And I also agree that there isn’t much harmony in the materials, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing.

A good example how an attempt to make a modern architecture has ended in traditional forms outside with vertical plank cladding. One can not guess what a dramatic intersection is there inside. Lots of casualities in interior

love the house but what is it in the asian design culture that makes them want to have a clear view of the toilet from adjacent spaces? This example appears to be not nearly as bad as some other postings here since it is only visible from the rest of the bathroom but I’d need some more privacy or i’d have stage fright!

hasn’t the mobius strip-inspired spatial organization been done before by UN Studio in their 1998 Mobius House? But this one certainly has more life and soul in terms of the rich materials and colors used.
