Certainly they are visually appealing. Especially sitting in the industrial new Wyly Theatre, where this color green is used fantastically. However, upon sitting in this chair for both the Rem Koolhaas lecture on Thursday and the Joshua Prince-Ramos lecture on Friday, I can say that they are not the most comfortable of chairs. In fact, after about 30 minutes, it was hard not to think about the discomfort. Sure the armrests are convenient, but an extra layer of padding would have been nice.
