Archivist/Librarian
A Tripoli-based engineering company is seeking an ARCHIVIST/LIBRARIAN to provide close support for the Chairman of the company in dealing with correspondence, documents, maps, books of the projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, bright, self-starter will experience working on numerous projects in construction and engineering field.
Responsibilities include standard responsibilities such document control, sorting out files, printouts, documents, book of projects, etc. You must be a team player who is responsible and reliable.
The right individual will be an extremely positive and upbeat person, who is organized, resourceful, adaptable and personable, and possesses good judgment and decision-making skills and is able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring short turn-around deadlines.
Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and operating system for cataloguing such as COBISS. You must have excellent English (writing and proof-reading) skills and intermediate knowledge in Arabic, preferably Libyan. Finally, this position requires time flexibility, especially with late notice – there will be some 12-14 hour days.
Benefits:
This is a full time position, with initial contract for 6 months period including salary, travel costs, accommodation and food allowances.
