Destroying the old traditional buildings an destroying all the culture that lebanese people has to rebuild towers that has no harmony in a small city such as Beirut is a disaster !!! The project might be good But not in Beirut !!!

The last "diagram" doesn't say anything!! Enough already with these BIG-esque abstractions that don't justify a project at all! Let's learn how to use diagrams!

Yes. Not bad, chic, contemporary. But:

Can't help but thinking these fancy projects make me uncomfortable. Those new shiny towers in all the cities of the world. They will speed up the march towards an elitist life style society, those who can pay, separating from the rest, the "normal" people, especially in poorer, somewhat under-developed countries.

If there is no larger educated middle class, those projects will continue the fraying of social ties and values. The Middle-East, Africa, places in Asia(Vietnam, even China) will all develop rapidly, with unforgiving pace and never looking back. Design feeds that process. Sadly. I am not pointing fingers, just how it is.
