Business Development Manager
Job Description
Create opportunities for Cinimod Studio’s Creative Director to meet with well-qualified business prospects. Well-qualified prospects are those who (i) are established or potential users of design services or products similar to those offered by Cinimod Studio, and who are likely to commission such work within a period of six months, or (ii) are important intermediaries in the commissioning of such services or products.
Follow-up and develop existing prospects and established customers so as to maximize their revenue potential.
Maintain comprehensive records showing the history and current status of all sales contacts with prospects and customers.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and events, as requested from time-to-time by the Studio Director.
Assist the Studio Director in the conceptualization and creation of press releases and other publicity material, and maintain and expand on the studio’s current contacts within the media.
Coordinate temporary art and design installations.
Prepare a Weekly Report for the Studio Director recording all contacts and key events.
As an important member of the Cinimod team, contribute in an active and positive manner to the efficiency, profitability, and cooperative spirit of the Cinimod studio
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate should:
- have a demonstrable and active interest in architectural and lighting design, and art projects and installations.
- have successful prior experience of selling specialized products or services
- be a self-starter who can generate his/her own opportunities
- be able to contribute actively as a member of a small team
- be able to work under pressure
- be personally committed to delivering on agreed objectives and deadlines
- be willing to travel nationally and internationally
Job Terms
Salary shall be based on experience, with a potential for performance-related bonuses. The position is available now.
