Do not underestimate the strength bamboo, it's commonly used by Chinese throughout the history; plays a big part in their cooking as well. Not only aesthetically pleasing, also extremely functional. This design has cleverly re-interpret , simplified the trantional item into this fab looking modern kitchen ware; full of identiy and cultural vibes. Loving it! It’s bamboo btw; not wood! The material expression is beautiful yet I question the use of wood as it relates to its ability to age and respond to heat.
