However, I have spent much time at Civita. It is a fragile place with eroding terrain. An intervention like this will help speed Civita's destruction. To me it seems like the designers are more opportunistic and less realistic. Besides, who would fund a bridge with redundant structure? I'm not so obstile to new things. New is also not to be necessarly "NEW" in a virtuosity of forms. New can be also discrete and understand who is the main subject of this story. I've have seen the winner proposal, nothing amazing in the shape but really complex and weel done in the way is related to the "subject" of this story. But of course is my personal opinion.
