considering its context and use I would've hoped the sustainable side of the design would have been highlighted more. How is the feature pool water captured, and how do they control evaporation? Is it part of a larger filtering system for the house? Is there alternate energy collection/generation?
Considering their apparent budget this could have been considered more thoroughly by the occupants...

this is, after all, Australia, not Europe :p

When can I move in ?! Super amazing throughout. Given the long and narrow lot (always a challenge) this is a masterpiece execution that combines feelings of classic-modern with some nice period twists -- the spiral staircase becomes part of the strong statement as it is slightly over-done ... however, that works really well as it ties up/downstairs together without just having a functional aspect to it ... its part of the vision.
