Good point! I think this is a fabulous project, but maybe the conceptual strength of the medicinal herb garden could be transferred throughout the project (?!). By teaching others about how certain herbs can benefit parts of the body, why not put the proceeds of this 'medcafé' into providing means for healthcare or medicine in the same target countries where the playgrounds are destined to be built ...or maybe even with the impoverished members of your own country?

"Proceeds from the shop and cafe are used to build playgrounds in developing countries."???

Ahh capitalism..... imagine all those poor children in developing countries that need playgrounds constructed by westerners to have fun.....(sarcasm!)

An an architect whom works in developing countries I can assure you that children in developing countries are usually far happier then their spoilt counterparts in the west. True they don't have plastic slides and see saws but what the lack they make up for with creativity and imagination.

Great concept, maybe spend the proceeds on sanitation and water projects if you want to make a difference.....
