The Haitian government should be contacted by a company in this endeavor and talks should start on the future of Haiti as a country OFF THE GRID. I know this is a sad time and many resources for the reconstruction of Haiti are the immediate concern, but, there is an opportunity and it should not be overlooked! One also wonders if haiti's location in the very midst of the developed world has brought it all this sympathy and attention. wonder what tthe response would have been if an earthquake destroyed burkina faso or papua new guinea. wonderful idea though.
