If you look at the Vitra campus you will find that every project is an object much like the things that Vitra sells. My home is full of disparate objects (few from vitra unfortunately). Herzog and De Meuron get that...I think it IS more than just an object...it's a deep dive and a very critical response to the needs of the campus....moreover, how impressive would it be if you saw an alian spaceship touch down next door to your house?!
