jj
It doesn't annoying me, cause the fonction of the feet is to feet on the floor, a projection should be a nicer integration but in a way unfonctional, cause it made the object to unstable.
They must have a many different way to improve the design of a concept, but at a moment we should stop to improve it.
I like this object, the efficiency of the use of less material, and of course, the manufacturer can provide different colors.

But what a really don't like is this bad switch, how can you chose in the market this ugly big switch.
If I have to buy, I will change this.

Good week end all.

I love the cable detail.... really nicely resolved and probably my favourite part of the lamp. In terms of the footprint, I didn't notice it until reading the comments, but to me the reduced size in comparison to the lampshade helps place importance and emphasis on the light itself... afterall I feel that a lamp should be focussed on the lightsource with other elements coming secondary to that principal function. As rocklaubster says, it in some ways represents a monk - to me this means patient and tranquil without imposing on its environment. Good work.
