I think the cushion in the chair is held in place by a combination of the framework, and the subtle angle on the edges of the cushions - working kind of like a &#039;keystone&#039; in stone arches...

I get the same vibe! There&#039;s something raw and natural about it... Possibly that feeling is derived from the tone of the fabric having a stoney, earthy quality? Also, like I said above, I think that there is a reference to stonework arches...

I love this piece, the colours work really well together.</description>
