Agree, I would love to visit this house but definitely not for living... structure wise it's looks amazing and lovely though it would be a wonder how long the owner can live and cook with that kind of kitchen?

I like this project, but speaking as an architect, I submit that the author of this piece, should say less, and let the building do the talking. There are neither arches, nor pillars, by any definition, to be seen in this work. And the Conch spiral, while uncommon, is hardly a new idea in architecture.

I agree that suitability is quite difficult to "judge" without the rest of the story (i.e. the clients needs and reactions). I think we may find that "judging" architecture from photographs is usually an exercise in abstraction. The architect's gesture is, indeed, a grand one and, furthermore, it's purportedly a gesture that responds to the site as they found it or at least as they imagined it in through their text. Without access to the site, the stories, or any other context for the project, we are left with the architect's statement and photographs. Based on what we have in these documents, I don't see any evidence for concern about the sizes of bathrooms and kitchens.
