Walking into that room would be both surprising and disorienting to whomever happened upon it - and would certainly make someone stop to think - so it works on that level. Being temporary, it also works on the level of wasting paint.

Strange, the way white has more and more become the no-brainer 'colour' of choice for designers. It's always white. It's always a safe choice for the (sometimes so-called-)designer who is afraid of deciding on a colour and being considered as tacky or out-of-fashion by his/her peers. If you paint Barack Obama and George Bush white, they'd go together very well.

truly absurd!

"...I thought that it was as if the room was waiting to die and I wanted to ease its transition from this world."

what is this for?...

you should make an installation (at least) with all this recyclable things, instead of painting them for a funeral that leads to nothing!

It's too bad that this historic landmark is slated for demo; however, this installation is kind of creepy looking- very clinical and eery.
