Here are a few more details from the designer:

Lords South Beach is the first gay boutique hotel brand in the US, and the hotel just opened this year in Miami Beach.

The concept has been very well received, and Brian Gorman - owner of the hotel and founder of the Lords brand - has plans to open in other US cities.

Located at 11th Street and Collins in the heart of South Beach in the former Nash Hotel space, the design is spirited and playful, with unexpected touches, and uniforms custom designed by Levis.

Very chic. But we really need to see what it looks like filled with guests.

    Can straight people stay?

    Discriminate much?

I would definitely go gay to stay in a place like this.

I love the colors! Is this hotel only for gay? I think it fits for children or teenagers too, preferably without the studs. =P

    thanks for the eye candy!

What difference does it make who sleeps in the beds? This place is amazing from a design standpoint, regardless of its hotel amenities. Sixty years ago an avant-garde designer said (and I paraphrase) that beauty is in the details. Look at these photos again and REALLY see the attention to detail the owners demanded and got from a talented team.
