Nice. But the white void in the main space is too much. Needs something to make it less oppressive and maybe express its internal function.

isometric and sections show the concept. Very clever solution to hang gallery floors from the roof structure, transferring loads to the exterior masonry walls. Diffusion of natural light is vitally important in museum environment. This is also well executed.

interestingly i made a few trial/experimental pieces that incorporated a small sense of this just in a tiny way, sort of made them using a technique that i discovered through limitations of materials etc

This is a brilliant re-imagining of an historic building. I love the contrast between the rugged old brickwork and the clean, cool modernity of the new structure. Will definitely pay a visit when I’m in Germany.
