London Design Festival 2011: In this movie by the American Hardwood Export Council, architect Amanda Levete of AL_A and London Design Festival director Ben Evans discuss the Timber Wave, a three-storey-high sculpture installed outside the V&A museum in London for the festival.

The project is a collaboration between AL_A, The London Design Festival, AHEC, Cowley Timber and engineers Arup.

It remains in place until 15 October.
